Introduction[edit]

A popular guided canyon. The last rappel (which is the best one) can be avoided. The trail is just before it on the dcr.

Approach[edit]

Park at the end of the same road you use to approach Bois Malaise. The trail will be up and to the right (Bois Malaise is to the left where there is a sign). The trail will descend down a steep bank using landlines.

Descent[edit]

3 -4 rappels. The last rappel can be avoided. If you do descend it, you will need to find a climb out of the canyon on the right side to the exit trail. An easy way to exit would be for someone to drop a fixed line from the trail behind the last rappel anchor station. You could ascend from there straight to the trail.

Exit[edit]

Exit dcl just before the last rappel anchor station. The trail forks and heads to the left, down canyon. Take that well travelled path back to the road. At the road is a small cement building. You should leave your exit car near here.
