DESCENT TRIP REPORT 2-20-16:

Background[edit]
Explored by Scott Swaney, on 2-20-16 and team (see trip report above), expecting a First Descent, but found that someone had done the canyon before. They had done it with three large bolts for the anchor. And bolting is an illegal activity in Death Valley. Probably some big fines if ever caught by the rangers out there. The Rangers are not too pleased about such stuff considered vandalismm in a National Park.
