Introduction[edit]

The Barranco de Liri, also known as Barranco de las Doce Cascadas, is located in the Solano de Castejón de Sos. It is a short-distance descent but intense and fun. Clearly two sections stand out, with an intermediate zone of open character. The initial section, has seven waterfalls very close to each other and vertical. Good atmosphere and chained waterfalls of variable height. In the final section, somewhat less configured than the previous one, there are the five remaining waterfalls. A total of twelve rappels, aesthetic and exciting.

Although the reception ponds do not cover, an excess flow may present problems in the descent.

Good mountain environment with comfortable access and return.

Combinable with the Ravine of Ramastué.
