Approach[edit]

Halfway between Lluc and Pollença (10 Ma), easily locate the winery of Mortitx. Parking is just outside the gate respecting the indications painted on the ground, 100 m after (north).

The itinerary begins with the domain entry. If the gate is closed, go over the fence to the right by a wooden ladder permanently installed. Continue on the trail along the vineyards and get to a wooden gate. Go through the ladder, continue 350 m and leave the track for a path at a small dirt clearing about 20 m (cairn). It agrees (north) on a ledge to the grass to head (slightly to the right) to a marked gap. From then on the footpath becomes stiff, it actually borrows Mortitx the upper valley. Under the twisted tower (beak of Oca), yet there is no team and we pass the basin left bank by easy climbing crossing (II +). Then one bank at a plane and go a few minutes to gain entry canyon.

Descent[edit]

The first part is a beautiful classic canyon. But from the cascade of 20 m, the descent becomes divine. The collection is superb with a translucent green water. The arrival in the marine basin is unique. What to do in calm sea !!! Allow the mask to discover the underwater arches.

  • Exit[edit]

WARNING: no exit path as the canyon ends at the sea must be.: - Back through the canyon: the last two waterfalls are not equipped (C15 + C20), small projections are higher. To the to / from the sea provide 15 m to fix on spoiler. - Take the via ferrata: a few meters after the final basin, climb a few meters right bank and join the cable in place. He left diagonally above the canyon and then continued near the edge of the spur (II / II + air). Convenient ledges lead to the right to a slab lying and a dihedral-chimney (fixed ropes; II, a step III). easily you reach the final bastion with a good cable (II, a step III), 1h. Out the best lapiaz by following some cairns and a little brown traces left by the former. From there, either join the stream bed and so repeat the crossing II + socket on the go or continue the ridge, passing behind the beak of the Oca and down while in bed Continue on the path taken to go. The via ferrata is "kindly airline," affordable difficulty. This is an advisor course which adds some interest in this beautiful race. However, the fall is prohibited, the rock being exceptionally abrasive, sharp view. From then do not hesitate to ensure (with strings Canyon) team members who might wish. Climbing-rope climbing: 1 hour to 1:30 am Return on foot: 2h
