Introduction[edit]
Alpine canyon near the famous Enstligenfälle. A big valley, not the best rocks, but a few cool rappels.
Approach[edit]
Fastest way is to use the Gondola to Engstligenalp. From there it's almost a flat walk (100m up and down again) over to the start of the canyon.
Descent[edit]
Not a very promising start. Loads of boulders, rock of bad quality ... But after the big 100m fall where the water ejects through a hole, and finishes off on a long slab, the canyon is becoming more continuous.
Exit[edit]
After the last rappel, a few more boulders need to be downclimbed before getting to the big path of the Enstligenfälle. From there it is only 5 minutes to get back to the parking.
