Introduction
A beautiful, long canyon. Mostly non-technical with lots of pools, jumping, and swims.
Approach
Park in Jamao al Norte. Hike for about 2 hours to the start. It may be possible to do a shuttle but the roads are in very bad condition.
Descent
From the start, lots of swimming, hiking, jumping, and downclimbing. Spectacular environment, with lots of vegetation and clear water. There are a couple of short rappels.
Exit
After the last pool, proceed a little further. Check Google Maps or the maps of Jesus on AllTrails. Look to exit at a turn in the river and after passing a fence, turn and find the main path. Hike for a couple hours back to town.
