Introduction[edit]
Another rugged WCC canyon requiring a high clearance vehicle, anchor building skills, and a lot of effort for the payoff.
- We used retrievable anchors on all 3 drops, be prepared to do the same or build anchors.
Approach[edit]
From car park follow a faint road to the entrance drainage.
Descent[edit]
Up to 3 rappels under 100' and a "hole" lot of downclimbing and boulder hopping.
Exit[edit]
Exit up rim tank will require a confident climber, use of handlines, and some "figuring it out". If you get stuck at the head wall retrace your steps and locate the exit gully before the headwall on the left side as you are headed up and out.
