Introduction
This is a popular swimming hole near Palenque where a set of waterfalls provide a great canyoneering route that does not require a rope.
Approach
Descent
The river forms a series of travertine dam waterfalls for 2.5km, with the highest being 6m (20ft) tall. The waterfalls will require jumps and slides, but can also be bypassed if not sure.
