Introduction

We descended this canyon based on the information in the Guadeloupe Canyons guidebook. If it ever was a canyon it has grossly changed. There are no rappels and the approach is a hideous bushwhack through vine chocked jungle. The canyon itself starts dry and then gains water, but it is over as soon as it starts and never becomes anything more than a creek.

Approach

Drive to the end of the road and walk to a farm. Then head up to the creek. There are no impassable obstacles.

Exit

Some beta suggests a longer descent involving a shuttle. We didn't see the necessity of this.
