Naica is home of a giant crystal cave like no other that, some say, resembles Superman den from the comics and movies.
Although most people thinks this cave is only accesible for reasearch, it is actually open to the public and EVERYONE can visit them for a small fee.

The caves experience high temperature environment, so entry is limited to 15-20 minutes, then exit and cool off, then go back in again up to three times.
No special suits are required to enter the caves. The short exposure limits thermal impact on the human body and the temperature of the caves is not as hot as it used to be when they filmed the documentaries.

Narcos were a real problem in this area during recent years, be very careful when visiting the area. Stay only at established hotels/motels, do not camp and do not travel at night.
