Death Valley National Park
Scott Swaney has explored and documented the majority of the canyons in Death Valley. For more information on this substantial accomplishment, see Scott Swaney's Death Valley Canyoneering Exploration.
Death Valley is a hot, arid desert region east of the Sierras in California. It contains many canyons that are usually steep, full of large rappels, and require many innovative natural anchors due to the ban on bolts and lack of other natural anchors.
