June is possible, but it starts getting pretty warm.
A Peregrine Falcon Raptor Closure exists in the park north of the Yampa River through August. Canyons North of the Yampa are out of reach anyway until Fall when temperatures cool anyway, because too much water flows during the Spring Snowmelt.
Camping in dispersed camping along Harper's Corner Road is a few thousand feet higher and therefore cooler and less buggy.
AT&T has a nearby tower and provides service to most of the canyons closer to Highway 40 and Harper's Corner Road. Verizon has some service, but not as strong.
