Summary[edit]

A dog fell into Galena Creek Canyon. The Oregon Humane Technical Animal Rescue Team (OHSTAR) attempted to rescue the dog on 7/26/25 but were unable to rescue the dog. The following day, the Washington State Animal Response Team (WASART) was called to rescue the dog and successfully rescued the dog. Four canyoneers were involved with the rescue. The dog survived with no significant injuries.
