Introduction

From The Best Canyoning in Portugal:

This stream is one of the two tributaries of the Funda da Ponta Ruiva stream, the other being the Funda Superior Esquerda. The Esguilhão canyoning ends at a small bridge on the pedestrian trail GR01FLO. The stream has an interesting continuity, several small pools and flows even in the dry season. A distinctive feature is its lush vegetation.
