Introduction
Lower Fossil Creek to the Verde River, This can also be done as a 3 day backpack trip to the confluence of the Verde River for a base camp layover with good fishing and swimming, The creek is over grown and the terrain is rough with plenty of creek crossings and bushwacking and a hand full of awesome river crossings up the Verde to the Childs camp ground and your shuttle, or hike up the road over the mountain back to your vehicle for a complete loop.
