Summary
Above Slick Jump (just below Big Kahuna) a handline was rigged thru two bolts DCL (tied into lower anchor, run doubled thru higher bolt for retrieval from below). Canyoneer used handline to access Slick Jump ledge, having clipped in with tether. Canyoneer unclipped and reclipped tether to harness but caught rope between tether and body. Canyoneer then jumped and pulled rope bag along and was pulled short of intended trajectory.
Fortunately jump did not involve a small target area and rope was long enough to deploy without stopping canyoneer mid-jump. Either of these conditions would have resulted in injury.
Caution should be used with managing (clipping/unclipping) tethers and ropes, even in environments demanding extra caution such as slippery ledges.
