Summary
At J2 (the V-shaped pool with the tall rock slab on the right), a jumper overshot the landing and twisted their ankle on the rock slab underwater. (From the higher launch spot, it's more of a step-off than a jump).
The group proceeded downstream, however it became apparent the injured person couldn't continue. Protection was added to the subsequent slides & down-climbs. At the lunch rock, the injured person escaped back to the trail with the help from another group member. The injured person was able to make their own way back to the trailhead, and the assistant returned to the canyon. The group went on to complete the route.
