Summary[edit]

Canyoneer swam a recirculating pothole in section above the "Washing Machine" and exited DCL, where simpler exit possible. Canyoneer then faced wide, slick flow, necessary to cross to DCR to continue down canyon. Other party members readied a throw bag, but canyoneer started crossing before throw bag was deployed to canyoneer. Canyoneer slipped and bag was tossed down after but missed short. Canyoneer aligned themself to slide into large pothole, arrived uninjured.

Canyoneer could have gotten back into pothole and exited DCR (avoiding the slick slope crossing) or waited for throw bag in hand to slide/swing across on a controlled path.
