Summary[edit]
In the penultimate rappel in Eaton, during the top slide in moderately high water, a canyoneer's backpack's gear loop (Rodcle bag), got caught on his rappel device's hyperhorn. This caused the canyoneer to rappel awkwardly, and with the device at a unusual angle into the pool below.
If this had happened with a worn device with sharp edges, this might have been a bigger problem.
