Introduction[edit]
Spectacular walk-through canyon, accessed via Lake Powell.
Approach[edit]
It's about 12 miles up-lake from Antelope Point Marina. Typically kayaks or stand-up paddle boards are used to venture up the slot.
At lake elevation ~3,610ft the slot starts going under water, and over ~3,625ft there's no real walking in a slot at all.
Lake elevation 3,590 - 3,600ft is a good elevation, that leaves about 2.5 miles of kayaking from the mouth of the canyon to where the water ends, and nice walking in a slot.
