Introduction[edit]
An easily accessible canyon with several short falls and pools, within a regional park in North Vancouver. The slot section of the creek features a number of powerful slides and high jumps.
Approach[edit]
Park in the vicinity of the Canyon Cafe and cross the river through the suspended bridge, you will have a good view of what awaits you below. Walking upstream on trails on either side of the creek allow access to the stream and the start of the adventure.
Descent[edit]
Non-technical in nature, some jumps are quite high and some people might prefer to rappel them.
Exit[edit]
Once the canyon open up scramble up to the trail on any side of the creek and walk back to the parking lot
Red tape[edit]
Lynn Creek can be a good sized stream for much of the year, and a number of people have died cliff diving in this park. Not too sure of the legality of canyoneering in this park, as the GVRD gets nervous anytime anyone approaches the creek.
