Introduction
2 keeper potholes near the beginning of the technical section may be avoided by climbing around or rappelling high on right. 3 short 40-foot rappels. At least one swimmer. Final namesake arch rappel is 150 feet if using webbing around base of arch. 4.5 mile (2 1/2 hour) approach and 3.5 mile (1 1/2 hour) exit hike make the pay-to-play ratio high. A great opportunity to do keeper pothole escapes with a safety hatch by having one person taking the easy route to the other side and being a meat anchor to assist others out if they fail.
