The Buckle

Description[edit]

The Buckle is a releasable retrievable anchor system where only a single, unknotted piece of webbing must be pulled around the natural anchor when retrieving the system. This makes it a good ghosting candidate for potentially difficult retrievals, although the Fiddlestick or other toggle-type devices may be simpler or more effective.
