Introduction[edit]

"The Hunted" is a short slot that is easy to tack on to the end of a trip down Diana's_Throne_Canyon. It contains a short series of 4-5-ish rappels (up to about 80 ft) in a scenic, short and tight slot. I highly recommend running the Hunted if your group has the time and energy after running Diana's_Throne_Canyon. The return to parking trail is the same as the one used by Diana's_Throne_Canyon.

NOTE: This canyon is beginning to see some unusual wear and tear at the top and bottom of the final rappel. Please be courteous and pull from further back and prevent rope grooves. Additionally, political graffiti and vandalism is occurring at the bottom of the last rappel. Please wipe away anything you find before leaving the canyon to prevent a broken window theory event.

Approach[edit]

You could approach this canyon via. the Diana's Thrown exit trail but a more common approach would be to first descend Diana's_Throne_Canyon and then do The Hunted as a short loop before you return back to your car.

Descent[edit]

Exit[edit]

Use the same exit trail as Diana's_Throne_Canyon.
