Hi!
I'm a college student on the East Coast, but I head out west to do canyons when I can. I owe it all to my dorm's upperclassmen and alumni: they teach us to rappel and look out for ourselves on rope, and have made canyoning accessible for those of us who are interested for the past 10(?) years. In my opinion, they are a prime example how the world *should* work, so I try my best to do the same.
In my free time, I like researching rope materials and running my own mini-tests on water absorption, and force:load ratios and how they vary with rope diameters, rappel devices, and "rappel devices".
