Filmed in 2017, I had obtained approval from both the airport manager and the BLM Kanab field office to fly the drone before the current regulations were in place. However, flying drones in this area is now prohibited. Here is

Ski Ballet Practitioner
Ski Ballet, once a captivating discipline in freestyle skiing, showcased a blend of athleticism, grace, and precision. Athletes executed intricate routines with fluidity, seamlessly blending elements of dance, gymnastics, and skiing. The sport demanded exceptional balance, strength, and agility, highlighting the high skill level required to master its intricate movements. While few practitioners engage in Ski Ballet today, its legacy endures as a testament to the artistic expression and athleticism that defined this now-lost art form.
FIGHT CLUB SUP
Verde River, AZ - expeditionary SUP
Embarking on a 10-day expeditionary stand-up paddleboarding journey down the Verde River through the rugged terrain of the Mazatzal Mountains in Arizona demands not only a spirit of adventure but also extreme athleticism and self-rescue skills. The unique nature of stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) adds an additional layer of challenge to our expedition, requiring us to maintain balance and stability while navigating the river's exhilarating rapids. With each paddle stroke, we must summon all our strength and concentration to remain upright, using our paddle as both a means of propulsion and a stabilizing force against the rushing currents. Standing up on our boards amidst the turbulence of the rapids presents a thrilling yet formidable challenge, requiring split-second adjustments and unwavering focus to maintain control. However, the difficulty of carrying heavy weight on the boards further tests our endurance and agility. With gear and supplies strapped to our SUPs, every movement becomes more laborious, and navigating through narrow channels and rocky obstacles becomes an even greater challenge. Despite these obstacles, our determination and passion for exploration drive us forward, pushing us to overcome each hurdle with resilience and determination.

Molasses Reef - Diving the Florida Keys
Kingston Peak is a very difficult mountain to summit in normal conditions. Many peakbaggers have underestimated the difficulty of the climb. It is a ten mile cross country trek that entails a lot of bush whacking. To tackle it with snow, completely elevated it up another level. The climb pushed me to my limits in stamina. It felt good to be the first to climb in 2020. Especially to accomplish it in the snow.
