Introduction[edit]
This is a great canyon with nice jumps, clear water, and clean rock hopping. The canyon is divided up into 3 sections, the first part with several rappels and jumps, the middle part with very long boulder hopping and downclimbing, and the final part with great rappels again. The exit is bushwacking up a steep hillside.
It is possible to do without a shuttle by walking back up the road. The parked car(s) will be exposed to lots of traffic driving by in a remote area, so don't leave anything of value inside.
The whole canyon is bolted, with a few places using natural anchors or through drilled holes in the rock (bring rope to anchor material for these)
Approach[edit]
Bottom: Leave a vehicle here 19.035704, -070.492323
The parking indicated on the track is NOT wide enough to park and is NOT safe. Continue a short distance up the road and park left (may or may not be a small passing zone, but either way is MUCH better than the top of the track)
Top: Park at the point on the map (in a decent pullout), hop over the concrete barrier and bushwack 5 min down to the watercourse. Can take little cement drainage down that turns into steep but semi clear descent. Or follow along the roadway on presumably easier terrain to the drainage. Suit up at cars if a cold or wet day, or wait until the drainage if hot and dry.
Descent[edit]
As noted above, the descent has three main sections. The 1st and 3rd with some great rappels and jumps, and the middle with seemingly endless boulder hopping/downclimbing, but generally on large rocks that aren't too tiring.
8-10+ raps to 90', depending on your tolerance for downclimbing

Exit[edit]
At the exit point, look for a steep trail leading up on canyon right back to the road. The trail is marked with hatchet chops on the trees every few feet.
Trail may not be obvious at the start, but hopefully you run into it on the way up. Be careful not to send loose rocks down on your teammates. If you follow the trail well there should be no major bushwhacking at the top.
