Introduction
Located between Galt's Gulch (to the west) and Baron Fitzsimmons (to the east). This is a short canyon with a pretty approach hike. The lower sections of this canyon are currently clogged with brush, which can be avoided by staying high canyon left.
Approach
From Sunland drive east on Big Tujunga Road and park anywhere on the north side of the road in the vicinity of: 34.2970, -118.2808 From the road hike up the ridge between Baron Fitzsimmons Canyon and Galt's Gulch. Drop-in to the canyon at approx. 34.301632, -118.291278
Descent
The first rappel is 30' anchored off a cairn anchor canyon center, approximately 20' back from the edge.
Rappel 1
The second rappel is also about 30' anchored off a dead tree canyon left.
There several short down-climb sections that may be rappelled as well.
Exit
From the canyon exit into Big Tujunga Creek, walk a short distance to the SE back to Big TJ Road.
