Introduction[edit]

Park at Poison Spider Trailhead on Potash Road. Follow signs to the Dinosaur Tracks and Petroglyphs. Then continue up to huge Longbow Arch. Head east and down. Be sure to take the 15 minute side trip to the Ladybug Panel rock art at the second rappel station. A lovely route for a half day. The second rappel is off a 100 foot cliff with some free hang and can be intimidating for a beginner. See full beta in link below.

Approach[edit]

1.2-mile approach to Longbow Arch. Very well-marked and easy-to-follow trail.

Descent[edit]

Half a mile of descent through 3 rappels with one optional rappel.

Optional R1: 3 m (10 ft) - Webbing tied off to a tree.

R1 - 37 m ( 122 ft) - 2 anchors. Free rappel.

R2 - 20 m ( 66 ft) - Low angle rappel.

R3 - 25 m ( 83 ft) - 2 anchors. Bolts on the left. Tree anchor on the right.
