Introduction[edit]
This cañón is more of an interesting creek with many jumps and beautiful travertine pools. There is lots of micro route finding and a rope shouldn't be necessary for experienced groups. The cañón follows the same drainage as Hormigas. Just below where the road crosses the creek is the popular swimming hole Charcol Azul. This is where the route starts. The route is sometimes referred to as "Naranja".
