Comments: This cañón is more of an interesting creek with many jumps and beautiful travertine pools. There is lots of micro route finding and a rope shouldn't be necessary for experienced groups. The cañón follows the same drainage as Hormigas. Just below where the road crosses the creek is the popular swimming hole Charcol Azul. This is where the route starts. The route is sometimes referred to as "Naranja". You can continue all the way to Raíces, but I exited where the road gets close to the drainage. There is a trail. The road crosses a creek via a bridge and heads steeply 500m up the next hill. I camped at the top.
