Do the region pages update automatically on a regular basis (overnight) to reflect newly added POIs? —Bahman (talk) 20:35, 12 May 2014 (PDT)
- The updates are normally immediate, but if not can be refreshed manually by some users (I forget which permission group allows that). If there's an update that doesn't happen within about 15 minutes, let me know and I can try to see why not. Salmon Creek Falls did appear to not update immediately. Check and see if you can refresh: click the down arrow next to View history in the upper right of a Region page and see if there is a Refresh option. If so, clicking Refresh updates the semantic content of that page (reruns the queries that generate the maps). --Bjp (talk) 22:39, 12 May 2014 (PDT)
- The refresh worked. But now I realize that perhaps that entry should have been more appropriately established as a canyon – Salmon Creek (Sequoia National Forest) – rather than a POI. Is there a way to purge the entry, or should one just convert it to a canyon by using the appropriate template? —Bahman (talk) 00:08, 13 May 2014 (PDT)
