Introduction
Short, skinny and sculpted. 5 minute approach. <30 minute exit with a 200 foot gain.
Has been done without rope, but whoever downclimbed R2 is pretty hardcore. Ample stemming opportunity. A keyhole arch. Possibly the best 1-1.5 hour canyon there is.
Approach
Descent
R1: 40ft set back off boulder.
R2: 100ft two-stage off rock pinch. Caution not to pull rope at first stage unless comfortable with second stage advanced downclimb.
R3: 15ft previously off a cairn anchor. Anchor has been washed away and limited anchor building material is present. The R3 chute has features (a hueco and a crack) that enable an awkward downclimb/lower and partner assist, at least in current conditions with abundant mud filling the pothole below the drop.
Exit
Walk down canyon about 0.25 miles. Find bushy gulley on right to exit out. Drop a shuttle vehicle at the exit point if you have it, or walk 5min down the dirt road to the starting point.
