Introduction[edit]
If you are in the Westland region on the South Island and the flow is too big on Griffin Creek v4a5, Dorothy Creek is worth doing. With three sizable rappels (52m and two 50m), several jumps to 5m, and beautiful views over Lake Kaniere. Can be easily combined with Carew Creek for a nice day.
Approach[edit]
A bit of near vertical bush-bashing in the rainforest for 90 minutes. You may see a splendid array of neon color mushrooms.
Descent[edit]
Fun
Exit[edit]
2 minutes to the bridge where you park.
