Introduction[edit]
The Santa Rosas have some great canyons. This definitely isn't one of them.
Approach[edit]
"Describe how to get to the location."
Best advice? Don't.
Descent[edit]
Stumble down the embankment formed by Dunn Road and enter the wash. Proceed downcanyon and savor several awkward downclimbs before reaching the "technical" portion. The catclaw isn't avoidable, but the rappels probably are.
- R1 30' from a cairn anchor canyon center
- R2 60' from a cairn anchor canyon center
That's it, you're Dunn with the good stuff. Now enjoy a half mile of awkward bouldery wash exit.
Exit[edit]
Red tape[edit]
The most straightforward approach to (gated, washed-out) Dunn Road is posted No Trespassing. Locals and mountain bikers have produced some alternative use trails to avoid the signage and fence.

Background[edit]
First explored by Morgan Diefenbach on January 19, 2020. It was not a worthy use of a day off.
