"We took the shortcut approach and ended up rappelling off a small tree that had some webbing off it. It was a full 100 rappel with some loose rock. F |

Introduction
A fantastic half day of potentially watery fun.
Approach
The road to the parking lot is rough and you will want a 4WD vehicle. From the parking lot, navigate to the base of the canyon which can either be a dried out deep sandy wash or a more hard pack clay like substance if it's rained recently. Once at the base of the canyon, head up the right side. The base of the canyon is a good spot to stash some extra water if the hike out is expected to be hot or ditch your wetsuit if the mouth of the canyon is completely dry. Be sure to grab some map data, as finding the correct location to drop in can be difficult. The rappel for the drop in approach is 60ft.
Descent

- R5: 20 feet - Typically the anchor is set back from the edge.
- R6: 15 feet
