Introduction[edit]
An easy introductory canyon with a nice view of the Gloucester River, or an alternate when Gloucester Falls is too high. Also a worthwhile add-on after Gloucester Falls.
Approach[edit]
If combining with Gloucester Falls: After abseiling Gloucester Falls, scramble up Gloucester River RR just before Emperor Falls.
Descent[edit]
Pitch 1 - 30 metres from bolted anchor to ledge with tree. Consider using a stopper knot.
Pitch 2 - 50 metres from bolted anchor
Pitch 3 - 10 metres from sling around tree and finish at Gloucester River
Exit[edit]
From the last abseil, scramble slightly upstream crossing to RL (which is right going up). Follow the Gloucester_Falls exit up the ridge to the lookout
