Introduction
This canyon is divided into the 3 sections. The lower & middle sections combine nicely. The upper section requires an extra ~1hr of approach.
This canyon begins from above Holta, and can be run first by hiking about an hour above the area where the drainage meets the dam.
Approach
From above the dam, cross the river and head up the hill. Follow closely the Ridgeline above the canyon. There is a farmhouse located exactly above where you drop in to run the intermediate section the canyon.
Descent
The canyon falls steeply back to the river. All drops are bolted.
Exit
You can exit at the dam if you have a vehicle there, or you can descend Holta to the thermal baths, which will add another 3-4 hours.
