Approach[edit]
My map is showing the route coming down from Telescope Peak. Because of doing this canyon on the same trip when we added Upper N Fork Hall Canyon, and using a long shuttle. THe best way to do this canyon is to use the "Alternative" approach route that is shown in the color yellow. Here you hike to the mouth of Hall Canyon and ascend along the N ridge and then drop over into Gollum Canyon. I have not done this, so care should be taken when attempting an un-known approach that had been drawn in, and not actually completed by anyone yet
