Introduction[edit]
This was a long 16 mile route using another new canyon called "The Serpent" to gain access. On the approach through the serpent, the upper part had some technical dry-falls that we were able to climb by bypasses we found. After dropping into the main objective, we descended the upper portion of the canyon and found no evidence that anyone had ever been there before. as we got further down we found some very old webbing hanging on rusty pitons. looked like the party was attempting to come up the canyon from the mouth, but got stopped part of the way up. A very big loop of two canyons and some great canyon scenery to check out. Except we ran out of daylight with the short winter hours.
