Introduction

If escaping the canyon before the last and largest rappel, look for 3rd class terrain to the North (canyoneers right) after the last rappel into the large pool. You should have a beautiful view of the swell and be able to see Green River in the distance.

Scramble up to the north rim of the canyon (reader's choice) and then follow the contours up and to the west. After 30 minutes you should gain the top of the ridge. Follow the ridge until it becomes a sharp drop in the canyon to the south and then follow the lip of the canyon until you get back to where you began your adventure. The old double track road is 15 minutes further south and at the time of writing had a fairly well established trail to it's intersection. Once on the road follow it back to the edge of the wilderness area where you likely parked at the "Wilderness - No Vehicles" placard.
