Comments: Fantastic run through Greasewood. The trailhead as suggested by road trip ryan's GPX has subsequently been closed making for a ~2mi hike from the edge of the wilderness area. The additional 1.5ish miles is over very easy terrain and the additional walk doesn't take away from the canyon what-so-ever. Please respect our wilderness and don't drive down the closed road like one set of tire prints suggested.

The canyon itself was very enjoyable and would be a great candidate for a beginner with compentent leadership of an intermediate canyoneer. The canyon itself is fairly wide though narrows at several pools to make life interesting. If you are looking for a slot canyon, look elsewhere. There are many opportunities to escape the canyon through 3rd class terrain throughout.

Though not bolted, natural anchors were plentiful and easy to build, from trees to large boulders. We replaced the long extended anchor into a deep pool. Other anchors were getting very close to replacement and a prudent party should expect the need replace all anchors if more than a month or two has gone by since this post.

Although a 4mm wetsuit was hot at the beginning and middle stretches of the canyon that were lower on water, we were very glad to have them with the swimming we did towards the end.
