Introduction
Malicious Gap Canyon is a short, nice enough red quartzite box canyon with one optional 50 foot rappel at a seasonal waterfall - two stars as far as a canyoneering trip goes. Greenback Creek itself is not much of a destination hike in this area, though the hiking above it was fairly scenic and there is apparently a ruin site nearby.
Approach
Descent
If descending the canyon all the way there is one optional rappel of around 50 feet that can otherwise be scrambled around on canyon left.
