Trip reports and media[edit]

April 2019. Car to car 9 hours. 6 people. Wetsuit not needed and easier without even though there were a few chest deep pools. 1st rappel 40 feet. Starts off with easy stemming, alternating between short narrows and open sections. Gradually builds to higher stemming and more challenging corner crossings if you try to stay high above the water. Middle rappel is 40 feet off a deadman into a pool. Followed by about 4 meat-anchor partner-captures. Final rappel is after the confluence with Good Day Jim and is 30 feet off a pinch. 3 mandatory rappels. Very fun to creatively get LAMAR down with pack-drag, partner-capture, or dry slide on the small ones. 6 hours in canyon. 2 hour exit hike.
