Introduction[edit]
Between Kerak and Tafileh, this is a natural water park, with swimming, slides, and jumps, followed by a short, challenging hike along the riverbed (which eventually winds its way to the Dead Sea). The upper section of Hasa ends at the confluence of Wadi Afra with its warm waters, before heading back up to the road. Allow 4 to 5 hours. Wetsuits recommended in winter.
Approach[edit]
From the parking (30.985690, 35.661380) take the road heading northwest down to Wadi Hasa. Walk downstream on the left bank until the river cuts into the light-coloured limestone, then enter the water.
Descent[edit]
Exit[edit]
From the confluence with Wadi Afra, you can walk up a track to the road, or, ascend the thermal waters of Wadi Afra.
