Introduction[edit]
A not-so-great hike, to a not-so-great canyon. In comparison to Hot Loop this route requires more effort for very little pay off. The two drops are short and could possibly be downclimbed or bypassed in dry conditions. The route starts off pretty clean but gets brushy as you continue.
Approach[edit]
Start at Jacks Canyon Th and hike up, and across Horse Mesa to the drop in.
Descent[edit]
Exit[edit]
Connect with Jacks Canyon trail and follow it back to your vehicle.

Background[edit]
