Summary
Our teammate did the usual J2 jump. However, the individual jumped a bit far out to the left and broke left ankle. We immediately tended to the injury using a sam splint and bandages to keep the ankle from subluxing in and out. We tandem rappelled the rest of the raps and the individual crawled during creek walks. Our team was efficient in getting the injured canyoneer out within 4 hours back to the cars. One of us depth check and rappelled down first with a throw rope, another tandem rappelled with the injured canyoneer to ensure safety, and the third cleaned all anchors and threw packs down the raps.
