Extract from Canyons Near Sydney guide book by Rick Jamieson

The lower Jenolan Canyon is a pleasant, easy walk up from the Coxs River (accessible via Packsaddlers and Breakfast Creek). The three-day walk down Jenolan River from Jenolan Caves (through Hellgate Canyon) is also recommended - but there are some rough, bouldery sections and a short rope is needed (but no abseils or deep swims).
