Introduction
This canyon is best in spring, when the water runs clear and the pools are deeper. In late summer water slows to a trickle and some pools dry out making downclimbing easier, but with shallower water.
Approach
It's either a 4.5km walk (with a 50 descent and another 450m elevation climb) or a very steep high clearance 4wd trip.5 Shuttle can be walked or driven but gets very slippery in the wet.
Descent
Longest abseil is ~50m. with multiple opportunities for jumps, and no slides.
Exit
At the last abseil walk down for 40m then climb up the steep grassy slope into the trees then trend right towards the 'carpark'.
Red tape
The 4WD track is seasonally closed.
