Introduction

Best done as an ascent on the way to the head of South Fork, making the Maidenwater Loop. The up-climbs in Middle Fork can be somewhat challenging for the intermediate canyoneer, beginners will require a belay or lift to get up. If descending the canyon, it is beginner and family-friendly.
